Inverted Row
Starting position
- Set a bar at hip height (Smith machine or rack) and lie under it.
- Grip shoulder-width, body straight, only the heels on the floor.
Execution
- Pull the chest to the bar, the body stays in a line.
- Lower under control until the arms are straight.
- Easier: bend the knees or set the bar higher.
Common mistakes
- Hips sagging.
- Reaching the chin to the bar instead of pulling the chest.
- Jerking up.
