Neutral-Grip Chin-up
Starting position
- Grab the parallel handles, palms facing each other.
- Hang freely, shoulders actively pulled down.
Execution
- Pull up until the chin is over the handles, elbows close to the body.
- Lower under control until the arms are straight.
- Easier: with a band or an assisted pull-up machine.
Common mistakes
- Swinging the legs for momentum.
- Pulling only halfway up.
- Not straightening fully at the bottom.
