Decline Crunch
Starting position
- Lie on the decline bench, feet under the pads.
- Hands at the temples or in front of the chest, lower back on the bench.
Execution
- Curl the shoulders and lift the upper body part of the way, breathing out.
- Roll down slowly; the shoulders touch the bench only briefly.
- Steeper bench = harder.
Common mistakes
- Pulling on the head.
- Sitting all the way up, so the hips work.
- Using momentum.
